Tolulope Shoga is a detail-oriented emerging legal and tax professional with exceptional academic, research, and leadership potential. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from the University of Lagos in Nigeria (UNILAG) and earned her legal practice qualifying certificate (BL) with First Class Honours from the Nigerian Law School. She is admitted to practice law in Nigeria and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). Tolulope benefits from various practical exposures to legal and tax practice, including internship stints at fast-rising Nigerian law firms and institutions where she gained valuable exposures to the practical intricacies of data privacy, taxation, and corporate law. 

Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Tolulope is skilled at legal research writing. She has authored some insightful pieces on patent infringement and communications surveillance law in Nigeria, which are published on open access platforms. Tolulope is also passionate about impactful leadership and organizational people management. She has been a Youth Leadership Program Fellow at Leap Africa, where she undertook advanced coursework focusing on core leadership skills, including humility, emotional intelligence, and principles of good governance. She is also the Co-Founder of Ignite Teens Foundation, a non-profit platform aimed at enabling teenagers to successfully transition into adulthood through education, mentorship, and support in making informed higher education and career decisions. During her time at UNILAG, she served as the Class Coordinator of the Christian Law Students’ Fellowship of Nigeria, UNILAG Chapter. 

Driven by her passion for taxation and finance, Tolulope is focused on developing her technical skills in general corporate tax, transactional tax, financial services tax, and tax deal advisory. An advocate of continuous learning and professional development, Tolulope consistently seeks out opportunities to improve her professional skills and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of dynamic organizations.
