Tarilador Favour Anuebunwa is an emerging tax and technology professional with a strong interest in digital taxation, robot taxation, and taxation of crypto assets. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersections of tax and emerging technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. In addition to her interest in tax and technology, Tarilador has strong leadership and research writing skills. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nigeria (UNN), where she served as the Deputy Director of Drafting in the Justice Oputa Chambers of the UNN Students’ Bar Association. She also served as Principal Partner of the Justice Oputa Chambers. Tarilador was an active member of the 2023 Class Content Team, where she contributed to media and creative projects. Tarilador is currently at the Nigerian Law School, where she is training to earn her legal practice qualifying certificate.
Tarilador has had practical experience in corporate law practice and commercial disputes resolution through internship roles held at Nigerian disputes and commercial law firms like Afe Babalola & Co., OAKE Legal, and K.K. Ubani & Co. She is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits in law, Tarilador is a skilled freelance graphic designer who has helped brands build their social media presence through unique and impactful designs. Driven by her belief in the beauty of keeping life’s memories for posterity, she regularly employs her digital content creation skills to document notable events in her life. She is also committed to leveraging digital solutions for promoting tax capacity development initiatives.
Tarilador is Deputy Director of Academic Affairs & Lead Graphic Designer at Emmanuel Onyeabor Tax Initiative (EOTI), where she leverages her digital content creation skills to support EOTI’s mission of providing a cross-border forum for the structured tax mentorship and training of young legal and business professionals, as well as law and business graduates, to position them for global opportunities in tax.
