Stanley Obidiegwu is an emerging tax professional with a strong academic background and exceptional leadership potential. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with First Class Honours from the University of Nigeria (UNN), where he served as Vice President of the UNN Tax Club and Chief Judge of the UNN Students’ Union Government. Stanley demonstrated extraordinary academic prowess during his LLB program at UNN, earning him two prestigious awards: the Chike Adaka Prize for Best Student in Constitutional Law and the O.J. Nnadi SAN Prize for the Best Student in Law of Evidence and Procedure. He is an Associate at Olaniwun Ajayi LP in Lagos, Nigeria – one of Africa’s top-tier full-service commercial law firms, where he advises on several market-shaping and policy-defining transactions.

Stanley has keen interest in developing tax expertise, which he has pursued with remarkable passion and dedication. During his LLB program at UNN, he offered the elective Law of Taxation course in his fourth year of undergraduate study, demonstrating strong academic potential in the subject. He enjoys researching on taxation and has developed a special interest in international tax law and policy subjects.

Stanley is Director of Research & Content at Emmanuel Onyeabor Tax Initiative (EOTI), where he drives the research and content initiatives of the EOTI Executive Council.
