Gift Adisa is an emerging legal and tax professional with a strong interest in international tax law and policy, transfer pricing, and tax deal advisory. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nigeria (UNN), where she graduated with flying colours – ranking amongst the top performing students in her class. She has gained valuable practical experience through internships at top Nigerian law firms, such as Banwo & Ighodalo, G. Elias, Stren & Blan Partners, Aluko & Oyebode, and Olaniwun Ajayi LP, where she worked on various legal research tasks, case analyses/ updates, and corporate transactions. She has also been involved in meaningful tax-related volunteering and research work, engaging in various projects and discussions on taxation.

Beyond her experience in legal and professional practice, Gift has held key student leadership roles where she engaged in legal advocacy and capacity building efforts that drove impact. She served as Chairperson of the Moot and Mock Committee of the UNN Students’ Bar Association (UNSBA), where she organized legal competitions, mentored students, and participated in legal advocacy programs. Her remarkable advocacy skills earned her several awards within UNSBA, demonstrating her commitment to legal advocacy and social impact. Gift is a volunteer Academic Affairs Officer & Lead Video Editor for the Academic Affairs Team at Emmanuel Onyeabor Tax Initiative (EOTI), where she leverages her top-level organizational and video editing skills to contribute meaningfully to EOTI’s vision of advancing the field of tax and supporting the development of aspiring and growing global tax professionals.
