Fathia Adewunmi Adedeji is an emerging legal, tax, accounting, and finance professional with exceptional academic, research, and leadership potential. She is a dedicated 400 level law student at the Lagos State University in Nigeria (LASU), passionate about taxation, capital markets, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions. Fathia is a Chartered Accountant licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Accounting Technician (AAT). She is particularly interested in the intersection of law and fiscal governance.
Fathia has remarkable leadership, organizational, and people management skills. She has served as the Deputy Director of Research and is currently the General Secretary of the LASU Tax Club, where she actively participates in the planning and implementation of impactful tax programs that promote tax awareness within the student community. Fathia’s unique blend of accounting and legal training enables her to contribute meaningfully to legal and tax policy discussions. She is currently a Tax Intern at Emmanuel Onyeabor Tax Initiative (EOTI), where she is advancing her practical tax exposure while laying the groundwork for a future career in taxation and finance.
