Pere-Ere is the Head of the Business Intelligence Unit at the Benin Emerging Tax Office of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) in Benin City, Nigeria. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Economics from the Benson Idahosa University, a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from the University of Ibadan, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the Niger Delta University, all in Nigeria. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Taxation and Fiscal Policy from the OGE Business School, a Preliminary Inspector of Taxes Course certification from the FIRS, and a professional certification in data analytics from the Heels and Tech institute, all in Nigeria. Pere-Ere holds memberships of the Nigerian Association for Energy Economics, the Nigerian Economic Society, and the Nigerian Institute of Management. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), where she serves as the Publicity Secretary of the Benin District Society. She further serves as the Deputy Vice Coordinator of the Society of Women in Taxation (SWIT), Edo State Chapter, Nigeria.
Pere-Ere is a high-achieving research analyst with astounding academic and research achievements. She was the Best Graduating PhD Student at the Benson Idahosa University in Nigeria (2023). She was also the Faculty Best Graduating Female Student (BSc) and the Class Best Graduating Female Student (BSc), both at the Niger Delta University in Nigeria (2007). In 2011, she emerged as the Department Best Graduating Fiscal Policy and Taxation Student at the FIRS. She was also the 2013 Best Staff of the Kaduna II Micro and Small Tax Office of the FIRS. Pere-Ere has written and published several research works in monetary policy, economic growth and diversification, budgetary reform, foreign direct investment, tax revenue performance, and income redistribution through taxation. Her research works largely focus on Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa.
