Clinton Oladayo Alabi is an emerging legal and tax professional. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria (OAU), where he served as the President of the OAU Tax Club. In this role, he spearheaded brilliant initiatives that were of significant professional and academic interest to members of the OAU Tax Club, as well as made valuable socio-economic and philanthropic contributions to the wider public. He is a recipient of the prestigious Prof. C.S. Ola Prize for excellence in the Law of Taxation. He is also the National Vice President of the Association of Nigerian Taxation Students (ANTAS).

Clinton has gained valuable professional experience in tax, finance, and risk analysis from various internship roles held with prominent commercial law firms and finance-based entities in Nigeria, including Stanbic IBTC, Banwo & Ighodalo, The New Practice (TNP), and the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG). He recently served as a Student Research Analyst for the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms Committee, where he made valuable contributions to Nigeria’s recent Tax Reforms Bills aimed at enhancing fiscal governance, simplification of the tax system, and driving economic growth. He also recently completed a Venture Analyst internship stint at the Tony Elumelu Foundation in Lagos, Nigeria.

Clinton has participated in representative capacity at prestigious tax and negotiation competitions, such as the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) National Tax Quiz Competition in Nigeria and the Herbert Smith Freehills-National Law University, Delhi International Negotiation Competition. He is also a published writer on various topical tax-related issues. Clinton is currently at the Nigerian Law School, where he is training to earn his legal practice qualifying certificate (BL).

Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Clinton enjoys table tennis and music. He is also a passionate supporter of Manchester United and Marcus Rashford.
