Chuka Nwanna is a detail-oriented legal professional with a growing interest in taxation and finance. He is particularly interested in exploring the critical role of taxation in shaping fiscal policies and corporate compliance. Chuka holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Imo State University in Nigeria (IMSU), where he graduated with flying colours – ranking amongst the top performing students in his class. He also obtained his legal practice qualifying certificate (BL) from the Nigerian Law School with stellar performance. Beyond his professional legal pursuits, Chuka is an emerging leader passionate about social impact and public governance. During his time at IMSU, he served as the Chief Editor of the IMSU Law Students’ Association Journal and was a very active member of the law students’ bar association. He was also an active member of the African Law Students’ Association and the Young African Leadership Initiative. 

Chuka benefits from various practical exposures to legal and tax practice, including internship stints at fast-rising Nigerian law firms and institutions where he gained valuable exposure to the practical intricacies of taxation law and policy. Chuka is passionate about continuous learning and professional development. He has volunteered with several outreach programs, including Cowrywise, where he promoted fiscal education and financial literacy. Beyond his professional pursuits in taxation and finance, Chuka is developing skills in effective public communication and impactful legal research writing. He has written several legal research articles that have been published in notable student journals and research directories. Chuka is focused on leveraging his legal training and growing tax expertise to achieve his global standard tax competency goals.
