Chinyere Victory Okenwa (Toriiichukwu) is an emerging global tax leader with a strong passion for taxation and finance. She is particularly interested in exploring the intersection of tax and entertainment, agriculture, and international trade. She believes that these areas offer vast potential for legal innovation and economic development. Chinyere holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria (UNIZIK), where she served as a Senior Advocate of the Law Students’ Association, UNIZIK. She also served as the Vice President of the Nigerian Intellectual Property Club (NIPC) and the Director of Programs & Projects of the Intellectual Property Club (IPC), UNIZIK. 

Chinyere demonstrates strong advocacy and public speaking skills. She was recognized by the Juliana Imam Intellectual Property and Creative Consult (JIIPCC) as the Second Most Influential Female Student IP Personality in Africa (2024) for her outstanding contributions to intellectual property advocacy. She is committed to continuous learning, professional excellence, and using legal innovation to drive social impact. Chinyere benefits from various practical exposures to legal and tax practice, including internship stints at fast-rising Nigerian institutions and law firms like Stren & Blan Partners, Hightowers Solicitors, and My Intellectual Property Law Guide (MIPLG), where she gained valuable exposure to the practical intricacies of tax and intellectual property practice. Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Chinyere is developing skills in photography, videography, and content creation – all driven by her belief in the power of creative storytelling to inform, inspire, and engage.
