Ayah Hegazy is an accomplished tax professional with over fourteen (14) years of extensive cognate experience in general corporate tax, tax audit and accounting, international tax, indirect tax, tax administration and enforcement, financial services tax, and transfer pricing. She currently serves as a Senior Tax Auditor at the Large Taxpayer Center of the Egyptian Tax Authority in Cairo, Egypt. Ayah has worked for about fourteen (14) years at the Egyptian Tax Authority, where she has served as a Tax Inspector for twelve (12) years and as a Tax Auditor and Team Leader for about two (2) years. 

In her fourteen (14) years of service at the Egyptian Tax Authority, Ayah has developed significant expertise in overseeing tax enforcement actions against taxpayers involving corporate and financial services transactions, reconciling monthly financial reports, auditing tax files, making tax inspection reports, and solving disputes between taxpayers and the Egyptian Tax Authority. Prior to joining the Egyptian Tax Authority, she briefly worked as a Customer Service Agent & Tax Accounting Officer at HSBC Electronic Service Delivery Bank in Egypt. Ayah holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting & Finance from the Ain Shams University in Egypt, where she graduated as one of the best performing students in her class. She has attended and participated at several workshops and tax seminars jointly organized by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Egyptian Tax Authority, and the Egyptian Ministry of Finance. Ayah is currently remotely pursuing her Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) program with the Chartered Institute of Taxation, United Kingdom.
