Anne-Marie Anyanwu is a highly motivated penultimate accounting student at the University of Nigeria (UNN), where she serves as the Team Lead of the Income Tax Stream of the UNN Tax Club. She is set to commence the final year of her accounting degree program at UNN before the end of 2025. Anne-Marie is an Associate Accounting Technician (AAT) certified under the Accounting Technicians Scheme for West Africa (ATSWA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). She is currently pursuing her ICAN professional accounting qualification certification.

Anne-Marie is passionate about accounting, taxation, and finance practice. She is particularly interested in exploring sustainable options for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in taxation and finance practice. She is also focused on leveraging her foundational accounting and finance knowledge and skills to develop global standard tax competency in structured professional services environments. Anne-Marie is big on internships and volunteering activities at reputable tax and finance institutions. She believes that these internship and volunteering experiences will provide her the platform to apply theoretical tax and finance concepts to real-world commercial scenarios that impact businesses and the national economy. She is also focused on developing her expertise in taxation and finance while growing her knowledge and skills in a dynamic, fast-paced professional environment.
