Amidat Oyindamola Lawal is an emerging tax and legal professional with a keen interest in taxation, energy and natural resources law, and commercial disputes resolution. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Lagos State University Nigeria, where she served as the General Secretary of the Gani Fawehinmi Student Chambers and the Financial Secretary of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, demonstrating her strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills. Amidat is building a solid foundation of legal experience through her service as a volunteer Legal Assistant at the Office of the Public Defender, Lagos State Ministry of Justice (Nigeria) and her service as a Graduate Trainee at Wey Practice – a commercial law firm in Lagos, Nigeria.

Amidat is passionate about exploring the intricacies of taxation law and its impact on economic development. She seeks opportunities to deepen her understanding of taxation, enhance her legal research skills, and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of taxation in a structured legal environment. Amidat currently serves as a volunteer Programs Officer for the Programs Team at Emmanuel Onyeabor Tax Initiative (EOTI), where she applies her experience to support the organization’s programs design activities, including the administrative execution of such programs. She also contributes to EOTI’s stakeholder engagement, providing efficient programs management support to the Programs Team at EOTI in the discharge of its administrative duties. As a Programs Officer at EOTI, Amidat contributes to impactful tax advancement projects while further developing her professional competencies in a collaborative and service-oriented setting.
