Alvina Amobi

Alvina Amobi is an emerging legal and tax professional with exceptional academic, research, and leadership potential. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with First Class Honours from the University of Nigeria (UNN), where she served as the President of the UNN Students’ Bar Association (UNSBA) and the Chief Registrar of the High Court of the UNN Students’ Union Government. She also served as the Deputy Managing Partner of Zenith Associates Chambers (a division of UNSBA) and the Academic Coordinator of the Christian Law Students’ Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) UNN. She further served as the South-East Coordinator of the Federation of African Law Students, Nigeria. Her remarkable advocacy skills earned her the Dominus Litis (“Master of the Suits”) merit award at UNN.
Alvina is a beneficiary of the Reginald Aziza Leadership in Law Scholarship Award 2024. During her LLB program at UNN, she had a stellar impact on the University community and beyond. The Law Students’ Association of Nigeria recognized her as the “Female Icon of the Year”. Templars – a top-tier commercial law firm in Nigeria – also awarded Alvina for her excellent performance during the Experience Templars 2.0 program.
Alvina is particularly interested in taxation, finance, and professional consulting practice. She is also passionate about social inclusion and sustainable development. She has gained practical experience in these areas through internship roles held at prominent Nigerian commercial law and professional services firms like Babalakin & Co. LP, Banwo & Ighodalo, ALN Nigeria | Aluko & Oyebode, and KPMG Nigeria. In 2023, Alvina led a team to Kenya to deliver presentations on social inclusion and sustainable development in her capacity as the UNSBA President.
